In respond to the Haiti Earthquake, Vancouver Diamond Lions Club managed to raise fund of $10,750.00 to provide emergency relief.

Villa Cathay Care Home Visitation

Over 20 Diamond Lions Club members attended this visitation at The Villa Cathay Care Home. More than 100 seniors attended and there were singing, dancing performance, games and give away gifts. Our club also donated a 58" TV to the care home. The seniors enjoyed a great afternoon and had lots of fun.

Fundraising Gala for Canadian Cancer Society 2009

The Fundraising Gala for Canadian Cancer Society was held on November 15, 2009 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. We were very fortunate to have 380 guests attending this event. With the support of many Sponsors, Guests and Volunteers, our club managed to raise $18,800 for the Canadian Cancer Society for continouse research and development. The highlights of this event was Charity Karaoke, Live Auction and, the Featured Performance, Catwalk by the 10 finalists of Miss Chinese (Vancouver) Pageant 2009.
